Chart Toppers
MrBeast still hasn’t caught T-Series in terms of subscribers, but the home of extravagant challenge videos has successfully completed a different goal. The channel run by North Carolina-based creator Jimmy Donaldson surged to the #1 spot in the Global Top 50 by attempting the survive the “world’s most dangerous trap.” That spectacle led the way as MrBeast attracted 638.4 million weekly views. Should the channel’s current pace continue, it will cross 200 million subscribers before the end of the calendar year.
T-Series is the only channel with more YouTube subscribers than MrBeast, and during the first full week of October, it was one of two non-MrBeast channels to collect at least 500 million views. The Indian record label brought its lifetime YouTube viewership close to 235 billion by adding 589.5 million views during the week that was. It also reached a remarkable milestone by becoming the first YouTube channel to ever reach 250 million subscribers. It’s just another incredible achievement in the long history of a storied YouTube hub.
ZAMZAM ELECTRONICS TRADING continued its strong run on YouTube Shorts by landing in the #3 spot in the Global Top 50. The Dubai-based electronic store is still the most-watched YouTube channel in the United Arab Emirates (and the Middle East in general). The two brothers who run the channel can celebrate another strong finish after collecting 531.4 million weekly views. That gave them a cushion of more than 120 million views over the next channel in the chart.
The highest-ranking family channel in this week’s Global Top 50 is Toys and Colors. The U.S.-based hub used bright videos and simple themes to attract a massive audience of young viewers, who contributed 410.1 million weekly views during our most recent seven-day measurement period. Toys and Colors enjoyed a seven-spot bump in the Global Top 50 one week after it surpassed 50 billion lifetime views on its primary YouTube home.
KL BRO Biju Rithvik rounds out this week’s global top five. The Indian Shorts hub was the only top-five entrant to lose viewership week-over-week. It wound up with 407.1 million weekly views.
Top Gainers
Have you ever wanted to learn how to do a standing backflip? Xander, the professional “tricker” who hosts the 73 Tricking YouTube channel, can show you how.
Like many of the aerialists who leap into our Top 50 rankings, Xander proves his acrobatic abilities by combining multiple flips to create impressive stunt chains. But unlike some of his contemporaries, he also teaches others how to perform their own high-flying maneuvers. In his most-watched YouTube Shorts video, he impresses a passerby with a standing flip — and then goes into teacher mode. As it turns out, all you need to invert your body is a jump, a roll, and a little bit of practice.
After watching that video, are you inspired to follow in Xander’s footsteps? If you are, you’re evoking one of the main themes of the 73 Tricking channel. Xander blends his acrobatics with the sort of morality tales that are widespread on YouTube Shorts. In his tricking class, tumblers are encouraged to help new students and discouraged from bully behavior. That attitude allows 73 Tricking to appeal to all viewers, even those whose feet remain firmly on the ground.
This combo has produced strong results. 73 Tricking reached 10th place in the Global Top 50 after collecting 367.4 million weekly views. That made Xander’s hub the second-most watched channel in East Asia, trailing only the Japanese creator Hayataku. If 73 Tricking can repeat its performance next week, it will surpass two billion lifetime YouTube views. All Xander needs to do is stick the landing.
