Like Nastya has landed her first movie role.
The 9-year-old will voice a main character in the movie adaptation of TV series Weird Waters. Per Variety, her character Jam is “a precocious neon tetra” who accidentally lands in the deep end of a magical pond and meets two new fish friends, BZ and I.M. Tiger.
Weird Waters‘ original series has two seasons and is available on Peacock, Roku, Tubi, and other international streaming services.

“I’m already a fan of the series and screamed when I was approached to voice Jam,” Nastya (aka Anastasia Radzinskaya) said in a statement. “She’s so adventurous and fun-seeking, just like me! I can’t wait for everyone to experience this beautiful tropical world come to life.”
While this will be Radzinskaya’s debut film role, she’s more than familiar with being in front of the camera. Her parents began uploading videos of her to YouTube in 2016, when she was two years old. Now, her channel has more than 107 million subscribers, and its ~800 uploads have generated 91 billion views.
Weird Waters will be produced by Wada Wada Entertainment. “Extending the ‘Weird Waters‘ universe and our passion for freshwater tropical fish to the big screen is a testament to how popular our beloved fishy friends are,” Frank Sandor, co-founder of Wada Wada and creator of Weird Waters, said in a statement. “With Nastya bringing her own unique spark and personality to Jam, we’re excited to embark on this next aquatic adventure.”
The film is slated for theatrical release in early 2025.
