BruceDropEmOff got banned from Twitch for the fourth time. Then he joined Kick.

Kick has poached another big-name Twitch personality. The upstart streaming platform has come to terms with BruceDropEmOff (real name Bruce Ray Condones), who decided to leave Twitch after receiving a fourth ban from the Amazon-owned hub.

Condones is known for playing games like Among Us and Grand Theft Auto. He also collaborates with other notable streamers, including Twitch record-setter Kai Cenat. Though his latest Twitch ban kept him off the platform in the weeks leading up to his big move, he still maintained a passionate following. According to Streams Charts, one of Condones’ last Twitch broadcasts reached a peak audience of nearly 80,000 concurrent viewers.

Like other streaming stars, Condones revealed his platform-hopping decision through a cinematic video. In the clip, Condones wanders across a frozen landscape before traveling through a portal and landing at Kick HQ. He is greeted there by several of the platform’s top draws, including controversial creator Adin Ross.

Condones’ decision to leave Twitch raises more questions about the streaming site’s creator relations. The Georgia-born gamer wasn’t just a popular streamer — he was also a fierce Twitch loyalist. In one of his collabs with Cenat, he described himself as “Twitch for life.” Kick shared that soundbite after Condones received his fourth ban. The gambling-oriented hub joked that Twitch was “doing our job for us” by alienating its longtime users.

Like other streamers who have joined Kick, Condones has quickly amassed a significant following. Meanwhile, his buddies have slammed Twitch. Cenat called the platform “petty” and described it as an “angry” company. In contrast, Kick is selling itself as a creator-friendly firm with serious revenue potential — even if it currently lags behind Twitch in terms of scale.

As the Twitch exodus continues, the streaming community is waiting to see whether Cenat will join friends like Condones at Kick. The 2022 Streamer of the Year has been actively recruited by Kick, but he hasn’t indicated whether he plans to give up his popular Twitch channel.
