Amelia Dimoldenberg is ready to take a bite of the Golden Globes

Chicken Shop Date creator Amelia Dimoldenberg is set to make her stateside red carpet debut.

Dimoldenberg will interview Golden Globe nominees and presenters ahead of Jan. 10’s award ceremony at The Beverly Hilton hotel. Her coverage will be streamed and posted in real-time across the Globes’ social media accounts, including YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Dimoldenberg has 1.6 million subscribers on YouTube, where her series Chicken Shop Date—which sees her take celebrities and fellow content creators out for one-on-one interviews at chicken shops—has cooked up more than 230 million views for her channel.

Chicken Shop Date guests have included Keke Palmer, Ed Sheeran, Phoebe Bridgers, Jack Harlow, Louis Theroux, Jade Thirwall

, Aitch, and more—so Dimoldenberg’s more than familiar with the sorts of stars she’ll be seeing on the red carpet.

The Golden Globes will work with Dimoldenberg’s U.K.-based production company Dimz Inc on production of the interviews, a representative tells Tubefilter.

Dimz Inc also produces Chicken Shop Date and Amelia’s Cooking Show, a separate YouTube series where Dimoldenberg brings celebrity and creator guests in to help (or, more often than not, “help“) her in the kitchen.

The 2023 Golden Globes will be Dimoldenberg’s first U.S.-based red carpet event. She’s previously hosted red carpet coverage in London, for both the 2022 BRIT Awards and the 2022 GQ Men of the Year Awards.
