Scroll down for this week’s Tubefilter Chart.
This week, the channels at the top of our Global Top 50 are bunched closely together. All of them got at least 400 million weekly views on YouTube, but none of them had more than 600 million.

The closeness of the chart didn’t change its result. The most prolific YouTube channel of all time is still on top of the world.
Chart Toppers
T-Series got more views than any other channel in the world this week.
On its own, that fact is nothing unusual, since the Indian record label has been at the top of each chart we’ve posted in July. I’m more interested to see if T-Series will be able to surpass 200 billion lifetime views before the end of the year. Though it now has more than 197 billion lifetime views, its pace has slowed a bit. Over the past seven days, it earned 562.1 million weekly views, which was the smallest weekly sum it has posted this month.
This week’s global runner-up is Cocomelon – Nursery Rhymes. The highest-ranking U.S.-based channel in our worldwide chart ended up right behind T-Series after picking up 494.7 million weekly views. Cocomelon isn’t just second in the chart in terms of weekly views: Among all the channels that made it into our latest Global Top 50, the California-based animation hub trails only T-Series in terms of lifetime views and total subscribers.
Another U.S.-based channel, Like Nastya, ended up in third place in the Global Top 50. The Florida-based family vlog continues to be one of the most consistent channels in the world, regularly ranking near the top of our worldwide chart. During the last full week of July, Nastya and her family collected 483.7 million weekly views on their primary channel. With a little boost, they’ll be able to pass Cocomelon next week.
Another family channel based in the U.S., Kids Diana Show, is also surging this week. The home of eight-year-old Diana, her parents, and her brother Roma snagged 447 million weekly views this week. If the kid-friendly channel is able to keep up that pace, it will zoom past 80 billion lifetime views before the end of the summer. Good luck, Diana!
Sony SAB rounds out this week’s global top five. The Indian channel, which uploads TV content for the YouTube audience, scooped up 402.9 million weekly views thanks to its large audience of South Asian consumers.
Top Gainers
Younes Zarou has found a novel use for YouTube Shorts.
Zarou, who is based in the U.K., has only been posting on his current YouTube channel since May 2021. Over that time, he’s attracted about 3.8 million subscribers and pulled in more than 4.5 billion lifetime views. The secrets of his success are revealed in his Shorts, which tend to feature multiple camera angles and deceptive filming techniques.
Zarou’s most-watched Short offers a good example of his style. In one corner of the screen, you can watch the bloody-looking mess Zarou initially revealed to his audience. The rest of the screen offers a behind-the-scenes look: We see how Zarou uses fake blood, sleight of hand, and off-camera assistance to make his horrific “injuries” look real. No special effects are required at all.

I’m not sure if these videos are popular because of their macabre thumbnails or their fascinating insights into the production process, but I’m guessing the latter quality is more appealing to the average viewer. This clip has earned 138.7 million views to date, and it helped Zarou achieve one of his best weeks thus far on YouTube. Over seven days, he collected 215 million weekly views and reached 20th place in our global top 50.
If that much fake blood is too much for you, perhaps Zarou’s other colorful adventures will be more your style. This clip featuring oranges offers its own camera tricks — and it looks delicious, too.
