Lowe’s taps fashion influencer Jenn Im to show off its new home decor line

Last month, Lowe’s revealed a new home decor line called Origin 21. The basic idea of the collection is simple: It’s meant to combine an up-to-date sense of style with an affordable price.

For that strategy to work, Lowe’s must convince its customers that Origin 21 lives up to the “up-to-date” part of my description. In order to show off how hip and cool its furniture and finishes are, the home improvement chain has recruited fashion vlogger Jenn Im, who has curated two “looks” that utilize items in the Origin 21 line.

Im, who has served up shimmering style on YouTube since 2010, has attracted more than three million subscribers on her channel. Her collaboration with Lowe’s is split into two distinct vibes: The items she curated for her Sunlit Sanctuary room are defined by their “soft washes of color,” and her Artful Modern look is designed to be “uncluttered but interesting.”

If you want to see how these items come together in an actual home, head over to Im’s channel. The Korean-American influencer recently posted a “home decor makeover” in which she and husband Ben Joliffe add Origin 21 pieces to their own space.

“My personal style has always been about a mix of high-low pieces and that translates to my home as well,” Im said in a statement. “With these two curations, I’m excited to bring pieces that are fun, versatile and made for family-living—all without sacrificing style.”

If you’re picking up what Im is putting down with her home decor choices, you can peruse her curated combinations on the Lowe’s website. Sunlit Sanctuary items can be found here, and the Artful Modern homepage is here.
