Ninja conquered Twitch. Now he’s sharing his strategies in a MasterClass.

Question: What do Malala, Hillary Clinton, and Tyler Blevins have in common?

Answer: They all host their own courses on MasterClass.

Blevins, who is known by the nom-de-internet Ninja, is the latest celebrity to share the tricks of his trade through the digital education platform. Signups for his 30-day course on streaming opened on March 8, and the first session will take place on March 30.

When choosing which instructors to partner with, MasterClass rarely settles for less than the foremost authority in any given field, and Blevins certainly fits that bill. He has more than 70 million fans across all platforms, and his Twitch streams reach an audience of more than 17 million followers. His 2018 collaboration with rapper Drake smashed records and made him a household name, even among those who don’t follow the Fortnite scene.

So there’s no doubt as to Blevins’ success. The question is whether he can effectively impart his wisdom to the viewing public. In a brief trailer for his MasterClass, the gamer listed a few of the topics he plans to teach. His students will learn to launch a stream, develop a signature style, build a personal brand, engage with viewers, and go pro — all in 30 days.

“Streaming allowed me to turn my passions into my lifestyle and career,” Blevins said in a press release. “Anyone can be a successful streamer by bringing their true, authentic self to what they love, and I’m here to show members how they can embrace who they are in order to turn their streaming into their own personal brand.”

Blevins’ course is part of MasterClass’ Sessions category; Sessions are meant to provide a more hands-on experience than a typical class, and access to them is included in a standard MasterClass subscription, which starts at $15 per month.
