Collins And Devan Key Partner With Adobe For Summer-Long, Micro-Video Creator Competition

Software maker Adobe and leading YouTube stars Collins and Devan Key are looking to jumpstart careers within the micro-video influencer community.

Collins Key, the America’s Got Talent magician-turned-family YouTubing phenomenon — who creates content with his brother, Devan — will preside over the Adobe Super Summer Influencer Challenge, putting aspiring influencers through a series of challenges this summer. At stake is the opportunity to collaborate with the Key brothers on the winner’s social venue of choice.

The contest comprises three separate events: best meme (which must be created using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Spark); best 15-second TikTok video (using Premiere Rush); and a final challenge where creators must make one-minute videos explaining why they should be crowned winner while displaying their favorite Adobe tools. To enter the first challenge, creators posted memes to Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram using the hashtags #CollinsxAdobeContest and #AdobeMemesForPrizes. After kicking off on June 28, a voting period will launch from July 11 to 14, and the winner will be announced on July 20.

Each contest will have three winners, as voted by fans, who will receive prizes and also earn the ability to compete in the finals for the Key brothers collab. Other prizes include computers, cameras, Adobe Creative Cloud subscriptions, and similar tools to aid aspiring creators. Fans who vote in the challenge at CollinsKeyxAdobe.com will be also be entered to win prizes, Adobe says.

The second TikTok contest kicks off on July 22, and the finals will launch on Aug. 17. Prospective entrants can learn more here. All told, the Key brothers count 22 million subscribers and have been amassing roughly 100 million monthly views.
