Hannah Hart Will ‘Blintz’ Across The U.S. In 8-City Tour For Her New Book ‘My Drunk Kitchen Holidays!’

To celebrate the launch of her second cookbook, YouTube foodie, podcast maker, and all-around prolific host of cooking programs Hannah Hart will kick off a two-week, eight-city tour that’ll take her across the U.S. to chat about her favorite holiday eats.

Hart, who’s a New York Times bestselling author, is following up her debut cookbook My Drunk Kitchen (titled after her flagship YouTube series of the same name) with My Drunk Kitchen Holidays!. Debuting Oct. 22, the book features recipes for holidays all year round, from the more traditional Thanksgiving and Halloween to dishes for Singles Awareness Day — a zesty avocado toast — and Middle Child Day — a blintz, aka an eastern European pancake Hart writes is often drizzled with toppings that are akin to “the younger sibling stealing the show.”

“The holidays are a complicated time of year. I both love them and dread them,” Hart tells Tubefilter. “The holidays as a time of celebration can be confusing for a queer person because there are no reflections of families that look like ours within a lot of holiday media. With this book, I hope to not only engage people who come from functional homes or dysfunctional homes or queer homes or straight homes, but ALL people looking for something to savor and celebrate all year long.”

About the tour, she adds, “I can’t wait to share this book on tour with people as a tool and a guide for allowing the holidays to be both a time of stress and a time of joy. It’s been a long time since I’ve been on tour, and I’m really excited to get back on the road and hug as many Hartosexuals as possible.”

The tour kicks off Oct. 17 at the Ideas Festival in Chicago, and will hit New York (Oct. 21 and 22), Boston (Oct. 21), Cincinnati (Oct. 23), Tulsa (Oct. 24), Salt Lake City (Oct. 25), Austin (Oct. 26), and Seattle (Oct. 27). Stops will differ across cities, with some involving delicious dish demos, others involving live shows with guests, and more comprising meet-and-greets and book signings.

Tickets for all the events are available for purchase here.

Hart announced the tour in an upload yesterday, along with a behind-the-scenes look at the hard work behind the fun of My Drunk Kitchen Holidays!. You can watch below:
