Collab Builds Out Recently-Launched Ad Sales Team With Four New Executives

Digital content studio and creator network Collab has brought in four new executives to expand the ad sales team it launched in January.

They include: Danton Tsang, head of revenue operations; Keri Keiter, vice president of media sales; Paul DeCarlo, vice president of sales; and David Painter, senior associate and marketing manager.

Art Zeidman, who spearheads Collab’s entire sales group as executive vice president, said the group marks “foundational hires for us as we scale and grow to meet the incredible market demand that’s coming in.” He added that Collab, which became known for representing former Vine creators like David Dobrik and Amanda Cerny, now sees its creators collectively reach more than 70 million unique U.S. viewers each month on YouTube.

Collab’s ad team is focused on helping the company monetize its own owned-and-operated content production efforts, as well as those of the talent it represents.

A few more specifics about the new executives…

Tsang is coming to Collab from Snap, where he worked in advertising operations. He also previously held roles at Google (as a new products and solutions specialist) and PlaceIQ (senior manager of client services).

Keiter joins from Group Nine Media, where she was senior director of global partnerships. Previously, she was a digital sales executive for the Wall Street Journal and a marketing exec for Bloomberg.

DeCarlo previously worked at Live Nation as its director of strategic alliances. He’s also held positions at media services business Spectrum Platform (regional vice president), mobile ad company Jun Group (director of sales), and marketing company Twelvefold (vice president of sales).

And Painter joins from AMC Networks, where he served as its cross-network marketing manager.
