Tana Mongeau To Kick Off ‘And They Say We’re Not Talented’ Tour In January

Controversial YouTube star Tana Mongeau, best known for her outlandish ‘Storytime’ videos and the ill-conceived TanaCon convention — which spun into chaos but spawned a successful docuseries — is hitting the road on a four-city U.S. tour.

Unlike TanaCon, however, Mongeau’s forthcoming outing will be produced in collaboration with a proven partner: the three-year-old Australian influencer touring company Amplify Live, which has previously partnered with the likes of Troye Sivan, Tyler Oakley, Connor Franta, and MyLifeAsEva. While the company has only focused on events in Australia and New Zealand, Mongeau’s tour marks its first stateside affair. Subsequently, Amplify is eyeing a massive push into the U.S. next year with upwards of 100 planned events, it says.

Mongeau’s show is dubbed And They Say We’re Not Talented…The Tour. She will be joined by fellow YouTuber Trevor Moran, Musical.ly stars Danielle Cohn and Mario Selman, and musician ‘Bad Zach’ Clayton

. It will kick off on Jan. 26 and conclude on Feb. 3 with stops in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Dallas. Shows, comprising a live stage feature and meet-and-greets, will be hosted in AMC Theatres to ensure “a comfortable and safe environment,” Amplify said.

“This lil’ tour isn’t my main/music tour I’m going on later this year,” Mongeau noted. ”Just wanted to meet some of you guys with Amplify cause I missed you.”

“Australia is one of the toughest markets for social media touring, and after countless successful tours, we are confident that we have the right format and want to expand into North America,” Amplify managing director Tom Maynard said in a statement.

Tickets are available now on Amplify’s website. Check out a sizzle reel below:
