Mukbang aficionado Trisha Paytas — who is also an aspiring singer, and who also happens to be the girlfriend of fellow YouTube star Jason Nash — is slated to kick off her first North American tour this fall in collaboration with Fullscreen Live.
Aptly dubbed Trisha Live!, the show will comprise eating, dancing, YouTube challenges, exclusive merch sales, and more. Paytas will also be performing cover songs by Britney Spears and Madonna in costumes resembling some of the artists’ most recognizable getups. Thirty-year-old Paytas tweeted earlier this month that she has a new album in the works, tentatively slated to drop on Nov. 13, with the lead single featuring musician-turned-YouTube beauty entrepreneur Jeffree Star — though it remains to be seen whether she will be performing any forthcoming tracks.
Paytas will kick off the monthlong, six-city venture in Toronto on Nov.3, wrapping up in New Jersey on Dec. 2. General admission tickets are priced at $25, while VIP access — which includes a pre-show eating session, early entry to the venue, and other swag — is priced at $250.
Demand to interface with Paytas, who has been on YouTube for over a decade — during which time she has garnered 4.5 million subscribers and 1.4 billion lifetime views — is clearly high, as VIP seats sold out for her inaugural Toronto show in less than 24 hours. In July, Paytas made her first-ever live appearance during a Fullscreen-produced outing in Anaheim, Calif., which she called “ the best day of 2018 so far.”
Paytas announced the tour in a video on her channel (above), stating that more dates are in the works for 2019.
