Description: The Aquabats! Super Show! originally aired from 2012 to 2014, with a run cut short after host the Hub Network went out of business. Based on creator Christian Jacobs’ real-world ’90s band The Aquabats, the show chronicled a fictionalized, superhero version of the band. The Aquabats! Super Show! was (and maybe is?) a kids’ show, but garnered itself a cult following made up of people across the age board, and thanks to consistent “When are you coming back?” messages from fans, The Aquabats are looking to bring back their cavalcade of wacky superhero hijinks by creating more episodes and more music.

Creator bio: Technically: Christian Jacobs, who also co-created Yo Gabba Gabba! Less technically? The MC Bat Commander (played by Jacobs) and the rest of The Aquabats, who spend their time “[fighting] the forces of evil and boredom across the land in their BattleTram using positive vibes and rad music.”

Best perk: The Complete Aquabats! Collection! tier. For $111, you’ll be one of the first to see the new episodes, and you’ll have access to an exclusive livestream premiere featuring The Aquabats. But most importantly, you’ll get copies of every Aquabats episode ever made — old and new — as well as a season one soundtrack and some other cool material perks.

Why you should fund it: Not only do the creators have a solid track record, this Kickstarter has some heavy hitters lending their support, including Felicia Day and Jack Black. Plus, even if you haven’t been an Aquabats fan before now, you’ll be helping to revive a much-beloved show that ended before its time thanks to network problems — and that’s something everyone can relate to.
