Colleen Ballinger may have revealed her engagement and pregnancy news late last month in a video that has garnered upwards of 9 million views, but the grind doesn’t stop.
The 31-year-old appeared on Live With Kelly And Ryan this morning to discuss her baby announcement — including how she revealed the news to family and friends — as well as to promote My Diarrhe, which marks the second book authored by Ballinger’s beloved Miranda Sings character (following 2015’s Self-Help). The book, arriving on shelves tomorrow, is formatted as a leaked diary and includes pages from Sings’ baby book, poems from her teen years, and also covers her ascension to online infamy. It is priced at $25.
On Live Kelly And Ryan, which is no stranger to the YouTuber phenomenon, Ballinger discussed how Sings is dealing with the pregnancy revelation. “Now, Miranda is claiming that she’s the next Virgin Mary,” she explained, “because she would never do something like that. So that’s where her story is going now. But Miranda’s going to get big — just like me.”
To promote My Diarrhe, Ballinger will remain on the road through September 22 in what she says is the last leg of live shows before her baby arrives. Tickets are available on Miranda’s website.
