Oath’s New Programs For AOL And Yahoo Include A Daily Morning Show Based Off The ‘Build’ Series

Oath‘s upcoming content slate includes an extension of one of its most notable programs. The media company, formed last year out of a partnership between AOL and Yahoo, revealed a host of new shows during its presentation at the 2018 NewFronts. One of the most notable entries in the brand’s planned lineup is Build Brunch, a morning show that will make use of its Build space.

The Build studio has served as a home base where AOL’s hosts have conducted more than 1,300 interviews with notable people in the entertainment industry. The Brunch edition of the show, which is slated to launch in June, will be “The View for Generation Y,” according to actor Jamie Foxx, who emceed Oath’s NewFronts event. “Build has star power,” Foxx said, noting that the interview series allows viewers to get “closer to the culture.”

Foxx was not the only celebrity to show up at Oath’s NewFronts spiel. Abby Wambach, the star of the US national women’s soccer team, also made a cameo appearance to promote her upcoming parenting series Soccer Momwhich will be distributed across the Yahoo Sports network.

RYOT Studio and Oath Partner with LeBron James Family Foundation on ‘I Promise’ Education Project

  • I Promise Documentary Project: Oath and RYOT Studio, in partnership with the LeBron James Family Foundation (LJFF), have struck a deal to tell the unprecedented story of the first year of the I PROMISE School in Akron, Ohio. LJFF and Akron Public Schools (APS) have partnered to design a brand-new school for the public school students in Akron who need it most. BUILD Series Announces Launch of New, Daily Live Shows “BUILD Brunch” and “The BUILD Up”
