The cast of YouTube Red’s Youth & Consequences is looking to give back this prom season.

YouTube veteran Anna Akana, the star and executive producer of the high school-set series, is teaming up with The Princess Project — an organization that helps underprivileged teens find formal wear for prom and graduation. In addition to donating wardrobe from the show, Akana is also encouraging fans to donate their clothes in a video on her YouTube channel. “I had a blast at my high school prom,” the 28-year-old says, “and I want teens everywhere to have a memory that they’ll look back on fondly — and/or cringe about — when they get older.”

The Princess Project furnishes formal wear in a positive environment, it says, that celebrates all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, disabilities, and body shapes. For additional information or to find a drop-off location in California, check out the organization’s website.

All episodes of Youth & Consequences — in which Akana portrays a high school spin doctor who starts a rumor mill among her social circle, but sees it grow out of her control — are currently available on YouTube Red, with the first two episodes available for non-subscribers as well. Akana’s next project is reportedly an indie feature titled Go Back To China.
