Rhett & Link’s Latest Star-Studded Christmas Song Features Bedazzled Butts

For the third time in six years, Rhett & Link have written and performed a song that introduces a glamorous holiday trend. After introducing viewers to their “Christmas Sweatz” in 2012 and putting on a “Christmas Face” in 2013, the inimitable YouTube duo have returned with another piece of eccentric holiday fashion. For 2017, say hello to the “Christmas Booty.”

“Christmas Booty,” which arrived on Rhett & Link’s Good Mythical Morning channel on December 19, features the same formula as the duo’s previous Yuletide tracks. At first, they dress up in typical wintry duds, as do guest stars Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart. Then, thanks to a makeover from a disheveled Mamrie Hart, the foursome’s respective backsides are transformed into posterior Christmas masterpieces. Viewers also get to see a Channukah Booty modeled by Fine Bros Entertainment co-founder Benny Fine and a Kwanzaa Booty delivered (with an accompanying rap verse) by DeStorm Power.

Should the two-minute, 20-second clip provide you with an insufficient amount of seasonally-appropriate butt decorations, you can head over to the Good Mythical Morning channel, where Rhett & Link’s coworkers put on a Christmas Booty fashion show. The “elf wedgie” is the clear winner.

In the day after it was first uploaded, the “Christmas Booty” music video landed on YouTube’s trending tab. At the time of this post, it has more than 500,000 views.

At this point, casual observers may remark that Rhett & Link’s holiday song formula is growing weary. To those people, I only have one thing to say: Six YouTube stars used their derrières as decorative canvases. That’s not something you see every mother-fruicakin’ day.
