Life Noggin’s Mental Health Web Series Takes Off On YouTube, With Help From Mayim Bialik

Led by its through, educational lectures and the crisp animations that accompany them, Life Noggin has built up a sizable following that includes more than 1.5 million YouTube subscribers. With that audience in tow, the three-year-old channel has embarked on one of its most ambitious projects so far. It is six episodes into The Brain And You, a web series about mental health that is commanding sizable viewership.

The first episode of The Brain And You arrived back in April, and since then, Life Noggin has explained diseases like multiple personality disorder and autism

.The latest episode of the series in on track to be its most successful installment so far. It features a guest appearance from actress Mayim Bialik of The Big Bang Theory fame, who also holds a PhD in neuroscience. Alongside Life Noggin, Bialik explains the symptoms and treatment of ADHD, which is one of the most commonly diagnosed mental disorders.

With Bialik’s help, the ADHD episode of The Brain and You has reached YouTube’s trending tab, where educational animations have lately been a common sight. In addition to Life Noggin, several videos from the German channel Kurzgesagt have received copious attention from the online video audience at large.
