YouTube Star Flula Borg Saves The World One Issue At A Time In Seeso Series ‘Flulanthropy’

Actor, musician, vlogger, DJ, and comedian Flula Borg is one of YouTube’s most versatile star, and he is now looking to add philanthropy to his list of accomplishments. Borg is the star of Flulanthropy, a new series that is available through the NBCUniversal-run streaming service Seeso.

In Flulanthropy, Borg looks to solve some of the world’s most pressing issues in his own way. Up first, as a trailer posted to Twitter indicates, is global warming, with Borg doing whatever it takes to raise awareness about climate change. In his case, achieving that goal requires a lot of loud outfits, energetic dance numbers, and over-the-top productions. Some well-known guest stars, including Ed Helms and Mark Cuban, are also featured in the show’s promotional material.

To drum up some additional excitement about his new show, Borg showed up on Conan

, where he continued his ongoing bromance with Conan O’Brien. “Conan, I’m trying to help the world,” Borg said during his appearance. “We are not part of the scientific community, so I’m trying to solve problems scientists are trying to solve.”

If you’re curious to see how Flulanthropy plays out, you’ll need a Seeso subscription, which costs $3.99 per month. The show’s first season is currently available, but don’t expect a second, at least not through Flulanthropy‘s current home. A Variety report back in May said that Seeso could move away from original programming, and a round of layoffs followed a month after that. Therefore, if you want to check out Flula’s latest bit of zaniness, you might want to do it sooner rather than later.
