12 Industry Experts Will Present ‘Master Classes’ At The Inaugural VidCon Europe

VidCon has announced a Master Class schedule for the inaugural VidCon Europe gathering, which is slated for early April in Amsterdam. The programming slate will be held within VidCon’s Industry Track — for business-minded attendees — and will feature 12 digital video experts sharing actionable insights about how to grow views, revenue, and community across multiple platforms.

“You’ll find the results of proprietary research into YouTube and Facebook’s secret algorithms, details on how to make money and build audiences on Snapchat, how to take advantage of trending stories first, and details on what the newest generation of fans really think — and how they’re different from country to country across the European landscape,” VidCon’s editorial director, Jim Louderback, said in a statement.

Speakers will include: Matt Gielen, founder and CEO of Little Monsters Media Company; Jumpwire Media president Gavin McGarry; NewsWhip’s head of communications Liam Corcoran; BMC Software’s global social media head Carlos Gil; Cailin O’Neil of Travel Yourself; influencer Rasmus Kolbe; FutureSource principal analyst David Sidebottom; Tubular Labs VP of EMEA Denis Crushell; NovelConcept’s Philip Zeplin; Snaplytics CEO Thomas Cilius; creators Joe Thomlinson and David Jackson of Diagonal View; and Alex Ayling, head of digital studios for BBC Worldwide.

Gielen, for instance, will discuss how to reverse engineer the YouTube algorithm — a topic he has also written about extensively for Tubefilter. In addition to the Master Classes, VidCon Europe’s Industry Track will comprise more than 50 panels, keynotes, and interviews, Louderback said.

Tickets for the event are available now at VidConEurope.com.
