Second Season Of Disney Channel’s ‘Bizaardvark’ To Give More Roles To Digital Stars

The Disney Channel is renewing a show that gives social media stars a chance to show up on TV. That show is Bizaardvark, and it will return for a second season, which will air in 2017.

Bizaardvark follows a pair of teenagers who express themselves through their titular vlogging channel on YouTube. That premise gives many opportunities for prominent social media stars to show up in the show’s cast. Jake Paul has a supporting role in the series, and notable creators who have appeared as guests include Rosanna Pansino, Eva Gutowski, Alisha Marie, Meredith Foster, and Logan Paul.

The second season of Bizaardvark will feature more cameos while continuing to develop the show’s storyline and characters. “Our hope is that Bizaardvark

inspires kids to embrace their own creativity and individuality, and encourages them to express themselves,” said Adam Bonnett, the EVP of original programming at Disney Channel Worldwide. “We’re excited about the direction that executive producer Eric Friedman and the creative team have planned for the new season, which will continue to build on the series’ smart and clever storytelling.”

Bizaardvark’s second season is still a ways off, but its first is currently airing new episodes. The next installment of the show will arrive on January 13th, 2017.
