Vimeo To Debut Kurt Cobain Documentary ‘Soaked In Bleach’ On June 11

Vimeo just snagged exclusive on-demand distribution rights to a new film based on the death of Nirvana singer and lead guitarist Kurt Cobain. The online video distribution platform will release the documentary Soaked in Bleach via Vimeo on Demand on June 11, 2015.

Helmed by first-time director Benjamin Statler, Soaked in Bleach reveals the events surrounding the death of Cobain in 1994 as told by private investigator Tom Grant. The film, self-described as a docu-drama, is narrated by Grant (played by Lost’s Daniel Roebuck), whom Cobain’s wife Courtney Love hired to look into her husband’s initial disappearance. Soaked in Bleach weaves together a narrative mystery angle with expert and witness interviews, official artifact examinations, and cinematic reenactments of the investigation into the Nirvana singer’s death.
