Amazon Studios released this year’s first batch of TV pilots, among which could potentially be the production house’s next Golden Globe winner. The 13 new pilot episodes are available for viewing on Amazon Instant Video as of January 15, 2015.
Studios wants viewers in the US, UK, and Germany to check out its slate of new entertainment options and tell its parent company Amazon which pilots they’d like to see turned into complete series. Included in the newest round of contenders are the comedies Cocked, Down Dog, Salem Rogers, and Mad Dogs; the dramas The Man in the High Castle and Point of Honor; and the documentary series The New Yorker Presents. Six children’s pilots are also available, including Buddy: Pet Detective, Sara Solves It, The Stinky & Dirty Show, Niko and the Sword of Light, Table 58, and Just Add Magic.
“We look forward to seeing our customers’ response to the year’s first pilot season,” said Roy Price, Vice President of Amazon Studios, in the release. “We’re thrilled about these projects and the great talent and passion behind them.”
You can watch the new pilots and send feedback on your show(s) of choice via the Amazon Instant Video app available on connected devices like smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles, the Fire TV stick, and select smart TVs. Alternatively, viewers can tune in to Amazon.com/PIV on their computers. Younger audiences can choose to watch the children’s programming pilots through Amazon’s kids-focused subscription service FreeTime Unlimited.
