Though touted as “a rare and comprehensive look at the inner workings of a band that is normally shrouded in mystery,” it’s strikingly without any actual music in the two 5-minute episodes so far.With their loyal built-in fanbases, and recurring cast of colorful characters, rock bands make perfect subjects for web series. Smaller labels like Dangerbird Records have been dabbling this year with web series for its bands, like Sea Wolf’s White Water, White Bloom series. For that series, the band crafted a much more stylized narration of the album’s origins.
