Since we and the fine folks at NewTeeVee and Tubefilter made the initial announcement last month, The Streamys has received over 52,000 entries across a number of categories recognizing both the the shows themselves and the people who make them possible.
Nominations for The Streamys close this Friday, January 23 at 11:59 PM Pacific. The entry with the most nominations from each category will become an automatic finalist, so get those nominees in soon
!If your quality online program is lingering in obscurity from lack of promotional power, fear not. Unlike other awards shows, The Streamys is no popularity contest (except for the Audience Choice Award, which is entirely picked by the public). The remaining finalists in each category will be chosen by the newly formed organization of industry professionals and community leaders, the International Academy of Web Television (more info on the IAWTV and its members will be announced soon).
Find more info on The Streamys at Streamys.org and get nominating.
