So that Sony Crackle, David Faustino web series just dropped a trailer:
The 15 seconds of footage doesn’t look too bad, eh? I was like, “Oh, they’re trying pull me in with the ‘actor writhes around on the sidewalk in his briefs’ bit,” but then they showed the scene with the dog. And the dog started licking. Well done, FNB Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television.
More info from the press release:
TV comedy star David Faustino (“Married… with Children”) will star in Crackle’s upcoming online comedy series “Star-ving.” Faustino created and wrote the series along with Sam Kass (“Seinfeld”), Todd Bringewatt (”Rules of the Game”), and Corin Nemec (“Parker Lewis Can’t Lose”).
Nemec will also star in the series. Ed Asner (“The Closer,” “The Mary Tyler Moore Show”) and rap star Coolio have signed on for guest appearances in “Star-ving,” which is directed by Kass. “Star-ving” is scheduled to start production in November and will premiere on Crackle.com, a Sony Pictures Entertainment’s web video network, in early 2009.
