Business Wire reports that Real Health TV signed a deal with the University of Chicago Medical Center to sponsor and host the network’s health features.
There are several video networks relating to health out there, but Real Health TV was the first in 2005 to focus on medical industries, treatment, and diagnosis. The addition of the University of Chicago Medical Center, an academic hospital, to the site’s content creators presents an interesting new element to the channel, along with increased credibility to compete with similar health-related networks that have used stronger design elements to attract more viewers.
Says the school’s CEO James Madara: “Participation in realhealth.TV enhances our ability to offer online video education, providing a whole new avenue for our physicians to help people, especially newly diagnosed patients, understand the course and treatment of specific diseases.”
