To make the top ten in our weekly rundown of the most-watched YouTube channels, a channel must fit into one of three categories: Children’s entertainment, East Asian short-form comedy, or T-Series. The Indian record label continues to stand on its own as YouTube’s most-watched channel, both in the per-week and all-time senses.

By getting 894.5 million weekly views, T-Series finished nearly 150 million weekly views ahead of its closest competition. Its lifetime YouTube viewership is up to 273.3 billion, and that’s only on its main channel. Other channels affiliated with the label, such as T-Series Bhakti Sagar, have also made regular appearances in the Global Top 50.
Sibling pairs are making waves on YouTube Shorts
On YouTube Shorts, some of the most popular channels are teaching an important lesson: It takes two to tango. Channels helmed by pairs of siblings are becoming increasingly common in the Global Top 50, with familial representatives from India to United States cracking the ranking.
As you might expect, a lot of the siblings in the Global Top 50 create videos that appeal to young kids. That’s how Russian-born brothers Vlad and Niki (ages 11 and nine, respectively) have become the stars of a world-beating YouTube channel.
Other sibs, however, take a more grown-up approach. That’s what The Savage Siblings have done on their shared YouTube channel. The brother-and-sister duo from India each bring their respective strengths to their short-form videos. The older brother knows his way around the kitchen (hello, viewers of cooking content) while the younger sister expertly drums up 90s nostalgia.
The result is a powerful combination that just pulled in 228.9 million weekly views, which was 25% more traffic than what the Savage Siblings pulled in during the previous week. And when the two of them get together in a single video, the result often includes millions of views.

The Savage Siblings are keeping up with some of the most famous creator siblings from America. As they have moved up the charts, so too have the Stokes Twins, who are two of YouTube’s favorite identical twins (and they still have great hair).
It’s just simple math: Two creators are better than one. So if you want your channel to really take off, just have some more kids.
