The third week of June brought few surprises to our Global Top 50. Four of the top channels from last week are still in the top five, and there’s no change in the #1 position.

Chart Toppers
DaFuq!?Boom! is first in the Global Top 50 for the second week in a row. At the start of the year, that sentence would have sounded ludicrous — especially since DaFuq!?Boom! was a relatively unknown YouTube Shorts channel filled with bathroom humor. These days, that bathroom humor has a name. It’s called the “Skibidi Toilet” meme, and it’s driving DaFuq!?Boom! to unprecedented heights. The short-form hub collected 690 million weekly views to retain its chart-leading position.
That channel that actually led this chart at the start of 2023 is currently in second place. T-Series has found itself up and down the top five in recent months, but its dependable audience has prevented it from falling any further. After finishing fourth a week ago, the Indian record label moved up two spots by collecting 656.4 million weekly views. If it continues to gain traffic at its current clip, it will pass DaFuq!?Boom! next week.
Last week’s runner-up is in third place in our latest Global Top 50. Among YouTube Shorts channels, only DaFuq!?Boom! collected more views than KIMPRO, which has had a breakout year in 2023. The Korean short-form hub, which often posts videos inspired by pop culture, snagged 568.7 million views during the week that was. KIMPRO now reaches more than 15 million subscribers in addition to its 3.8 million followers on TikTok.
CoComelon – Nursery Rhymes finished fourth in this week’s Global Top 50. The Moonbug-owned family channel is the second-highest-ranked channel based in the U.S. and the only long-form channel other than T-Series in the top five. Despite those merits, CoComelon isn’t quite where it was when it led this chart for 11 straight weeks earlier this year. During our latest seven-day measurement period, it accrued 525.4 million weekly views.
Tarik Alhalapi rounds out this week’s global top five. It’s the highest-ever ranking for the Turkish creator, who got 448.1 million weekly views thanks to his YouTube Shorts content.
Top Gainers
When it comes to dancing, Rawat VL Comedy loves a crowd. The Indian channel is known for videos that feature the titular performer, who only seems comfortable in public when he’s twerking.
For all we know, Rawat may practice his moves for hours in the comfort of his own home. But like any true comedian, he needs a captive audience in order for his material to land. After all, the shocked reactions to his dance moves are integral to the videos he shares.
Rawat is part of a rising community of South Asian dancers who are busting a move on YouTube Shorts. We initially explored that trend through the lens of Nepalese boogie bros Aayush and Abhay, but Rawat puts his own twist on the formula. He’s not just an energetic dancer; he also has such an impeccable sense of comic timing that onlookers can’t help but laugh.
The combination of dance and comedy has worked wonders for Rawat on YouTube. His channel has only been around since November 2021, but it already has more than 3.2 million subscribers and close to 600 million lifetime views. About 272.2 million of those views came during the third week of June, when Rawat VL Comedy ranked 32nd in our Global Top 50. It’s only his second appearance in the ranking.
Based on his current successes, it’s time for Rawat to celebrate. We know he’d love a triumphant dance party, but he’ll have to venture out into public first.
