The D’Amelio family is reportedly planning to launch a $20 million talent management venture

The D’Amelio family likes to keep busy, and if a new report is to be believed, the TikTok-famous clan is preparing for a move into talent management. Per the Wall Street Journal, the D’Amelios are teaming up with music industry upstart Firebird to launch a venture that is tentatively titled DamGood Mgmt.

The WSJ report, which cites “people familiar with the matter,” describes the D’Amelios’ venture as a wide-ranging management firm that will keep tabs on the family’s growing portfolio of online and offline ventures. DamGood would work with creators who make ambitions in the music industry, which includes both Dixie and Charli. The older D’Amelio sibling has released singles since 2020, and her younger sister made her musical debut with the 2022 track “If You Ask Me To”.

DamGood would be one part of Firebird’s overall mission. The well-funded startup wants to help artists find opportunities across multiple media and platforms, including film, TV, gaming, apparel, beauty, food, and beverages. “Our focus is on growing the entire revenue pie for an artist, not just a single income stream,” Firebird CEO Nathan Hubbard told WSJ. Hubbard previously worked at Ticketmaster.

In total, Firebird has raised a whopping $400 million from an impressive list of backers, including Goldman Sachs Group and the Pritzker Organization. According to the WSJ report, $20 million will be set aside to establish DamGood Mgmt. That sort of funding is familiar for the D’Amelios, who reportedly take in an annual income of $30 million.

But the D’Amelios don’t just have money. They also have clout, and that will assist their move into management. A recent launch party for their new footwear brand proved to be a star-studded affair, with influencers, executives, and star athletes in attendance. The Connecticut-bred family continues to work closely with Greg Goodfried, who gained a wealth of experience in the world of talent representation during his six-year stint at UTA.

As they continue to dip their fingers in many different fields, the two D’Amelio children will continue to represent their family on their popular TikTok accounts. Charli is the second-most followed TikTok personality, while Dixie ranks 16th on that list.
