A group of prominent Viners wants to spread some impromptu holiday cheer. Thomas Sanders, Taylor Shrum, Brittney Kelly, and Michael Tremaine have partnered in an initiative to leverage their audiences and promote random acts of kindness during the Christmas season.
The four stars are collectively known by their fans as the Fanders Army and each member of the Army recently published a Vine video on his or her own account featuring a random stranger and an impromptu act of charity. Now Sanders, Shrum, Kelly, and Tremaine are encouraging their fans to do the same and share the videos of the altruistic initiative using the hashtag #Givemas.

Sanders is known for his “Story Time” Vines where he ambushes random persons in public and “narrates” their life at that specific moment in time. On Christmas day, the Viner with over 4.6 million followers will pick five of the best holiday giving Vines that utilize the #Givemas hashtag and will re-Vine them to his entire account. The winners will also receive a Fanders Army t-shirt from Sanders’ online store.
Sanders’ following is definitely larger than those of Shrum (more than 132,000 followers), Kelly (over 110,000), and Tremaine (over 78,000). However, the collective effort of the Fanders Army to inspire their followers to perform random acts of kindness is bound to put a smile on many a stranger’s face this Christmas.
