Harley Morenstein Reflects On His Teaching Days In GQ’s ‘My First Job’

Harley Morenstein wasn’t always stuffing meat-based concoctions into his mouth. Before Epic Meal Time, Morenstein was a substitute teacher, a profession he recently discussed in GQ’s new web series My First Job.

Morenstein talks about how on his first day, a student insulted him by calling him a “f***ing loser,” so the Epic Meal Time star constrctued ways to get back at him and the other students. First, he rolled a TV into the room before students showed up so they thought they were watching a movie that day, but then, he pushed it back outside, explaining that it must have been leftover from the previous class. He would then instruct the students to pull out their textbooks. Watch the entire first episode to see what Morenstein did next once the students wised up to his plot.
