With a little over two weeks to Super Bowl XLVI, the countdown is on.
YouTube’s Super Bowl Ad Blitz, a contest started back in 2009 in which viewers vote on their favorite Super Bowl ad, is expanding its coverage of the big game with its Ad Blitz Pre-Game program, which features news coverage, party tips and videos from YouTube partners, like fan-friendly recipes from food partners like FoodWishes and AverageBetty, and football news, opinions and predictions from partners like ProFootBallWeekly, and JRSportBrief.

The Ad Blitz Pre-Game will serve as the warm-up for the Ad Blitz extravaganza which kicks off February 5. Since advertisers pay millions of dollars for air time during commercial breaks, they pull out all the stops to make sure their money is well spent—and advertisers compete for the most talked about spot after the game. Last year, as the commercials aired on FOX, Hulu made them available online on its Ad Zone widget, which also featured fan voting.
