Former Illinois Governor Rob Blagojevich is going to have his own late night web series. Blago’s The Late Net Show will run about 40 minutes “We’re in talks with Donald Trump, Alec Baldwin and Floyd Mayweather to be guests on the show,” said Charlie Oliver, founder of artoftalk.tv, where the show will live. David Faustino pulled out a shotgun in an attempt (video below) to woo fans to submit his comedy series Star-ving for a Streamy Award before the deadline. Faustino’s pal and Star-ving co-star Corin Nemec has also tapped his fan army for the Awards bid. [YouTube]
The White House is using web video to share its latest news on how Americans can help out Haiti. One of the easiest ways to is to text “HAITI” to “90999” to donate $10 to the Red Cross that gets charged to your cell phone bill. Living With the Infidels launched today on KoldCast.tv, after nabbing Best Web Series at the Festival Européen des 4 écrans in 2009. It tells the tale of five wannabe mujahedeens, and due to its touchy subject matter, was apparently created with the full blessing of a senior member of the Muslim Council. [KoldCast]
