'Your Geek News' Gets Babelgum Channel, Bigger Soapbox

Matt and Nat fans, rejoice: the co-hosts of Your Geek News are one step closer to becoming the Siskel & Ebert of geekdom by landing a partnership with UK-based Babelgum. Their new branded channel is immediately available for consumption and it contains dozens of YGN clips covering everything from The Watchmen to Wolverine.

For those of you unfamiliar with Your Geek News, now is as good a time as any to hop on the bandwagon. The show is hosted by Matt Campagna

and Anastasia “Nat” Tubanos, two dedicated geek journalists who pride themselves on their nerd culture cred, shameless inner children, and their connections, who hook them up with the advance clips and interviews that keep Transformers fans up at night. Comic book movies, science fiction, fantasy, Harry Potters and Twilights – they’ve got ’em all.

Now that Your Geek News is on Babelgum, however, things just got more interesting. Not only are all the videos much more easily watchable (except for the  non-embedding) via the Your Geek News channel (the Your Geek News homepage leaves a little something to be desired when it comes to finding older content), but anyone who can access either Babelgum Live! service (UK only) or has a smartphone capable of running the Babelgum Mobile application can get their videos on the go.

This is perfect for those who want to get themselves hyped for the next Harry Potter during dinner before the show by watching a few teaser clips – or for those who feel the need to have their opinions validated by watching a review (don’t lie, you know exactly what I’m talking about) during the post-movie ice cream. One way or another, you know you’ll be glad you’ve found this one.
