Luckily, that washed up celebrity story makes for great satire (and if Grandmaster B is any indication, the dude knows how to make fun of himself). Variety reports Faustino has signed a 13-episode deal with Sony’s Crackle to star in the online series STAR-ving
– an “exaggerated version” of the 34-year-old’s life. From the article:And from Faustino:
Produced by FNB Entertainment and Sony Pictures, and created and executive produced by Faustino, Corin Nemec, Todd Bringewatt, and Sam Kass, the “has-been answer to Entourage” is set to premiere in early 2009.
Shooting is scheduled to start this Fall but there are a couple roles still open. Former Married with Children casting director Tammara Billik is looking for Faustino’s mother (Seeking actress to play his mother. Must be a Little Person or very, very short – 4’10” and under) and an Osama Bin Laden lookalike (Should be tall and slender and have believable Middle Eastern accent).
