Car Banging Kids in the Hall

 In my early 90’s youth, I was a way harder The State fan than Kids in the Hall. I wanna dip my balls in it seemed sooooooo much funnier than cross-dressing Canadians. But with age comes acceptance, and now I’m all about those freakishly womenish men. Absence also makes the heart grow fonder. A lot of The State’s troupe has been reincarnated a couple times – Stella, Reno911 – but the only decent Kids fix we’ve had since Brain Candy has been Dave Foley’s painful Celebrity Poker commentary.

That’s partly why I’m loving Car Bangers. Released by new media studio 60frames, it’s the first taped sketch in over six years involving all five of the original Kids in the Hall. It’s great to see Dave, Bruce, Kevin, Mark, and Scott together on-screen again with fresh material.  The other reason I’m loving it is that Dave, Bruce, Kevin, Mark, and Scott are hysterical.
