With new entrees surfacing faster than you can say, “Don’t tase me, bro,” it’s tough to choose an all-time favorite viral video, but after careful deliberation, I’d say the original Charlie the Unicorn is mine. Simple hypercolor animation, terribly annoying voices, Monty Python adventures, a children’s song, and urban legend make for entertainment worth millions of views:

You got the Godfather II, Terminator 2, and Aliens tops among a handful of notable exceptions that prove the rule. Unfortunately, you can’t add Charlie the Unicorn 2 to the list.It’s not bad, it’s just more of the same, with the electric kool-aid acid quotient bumped up a notch. Worth a watch? For sure. But like most part twos, it’s not nearly as good as the first:
