Hosted by Football Guys Sigmund Bloom and Cecil Lammey, Draftguys doesn’t get on the gridiron with Chris Long, Darren McFadden, and other obvious top picks. Instead it focuses on profiling the lesser-known college kids who have a shot at making it big time.
I can see the show’s appeal to football fanatics and it’s a fantastic example of how the internet is allowing greater access to sports coverage that lies outside the mainstream, but highlighting the tackling prowess of Syracuse’s Jameel McClain and the soft hands of Cal’s Robert Jordan ain’t exactly my niche.
What I can kinda get behind are the how-tos from ex-professional scout Russ Lande. Not as entertaining as watching Talent for the Game, but certainly more educational:
