There’s been a lot of talk about partnerships and sponsorships lately. Fora.tv teamed up with Pfizer. BeetTV with Blinkx and Newsmarket. These deals are preceded by many others.
Average Betty (Tilzy.TV Page) makes simple dishes entertaining, and Sarah O’Donnell (its creator) seems to be producing the video for her love of the process, but the show is ripe for sponsorship. It’s quick, entertaining and informative, and it drives traffic to a website with ingredients and directions for simple dishes. Hmmmm.
I do have one issue with the show. The Yahoo player’s full-screen toggle sucks and it’s embed code is difficult to find. I wish there were a different player on her website.
Despite the subpar Yahoo Video player, if I were a marketing executive from Mission, I’d give Average Betty a call.
