A deal with Hiro Media will allow the files to be tracked while spread across networks. The video files will contain code that reports back viewing data, so that advertisers can track ads even when videos are offline.
Pretty cool – this is exactly what consumers crave…freedom and control. Hopefully DotComedy will soon expand this offering beyond a few select videos.
