You’ve probably long tired from tossing the George W. rag doll around, so here’s something new for your fix of interactive political humor.
SuperNews, the animated satire that exposes the absurdity, hypocrisy, and hilarity of the latest events political and pop culture, released soundboard earlier this month. As creator Josh Faure-Brac explains, “Have you ever wanted to make George Bush say something smart? Something stupid? Something dirty? Well, look no further!”
No, it’s definitely not the first Dubya soundboard, and it’s not even the first soundboard that lets you create your own Dubya speech. But it is the first to have highly talented animators (
Steve Olson and Dustin McLean), be associated with an already established brand of political parody, and allow users to embed their creations across the web. Check out my totally stoked George W. Bush below:
His intonations could use a little work, and I’d like to have more word choices available, but it’s definitely worth a few moments of politically-inspired procrastination. Want to feel what it’s like to be Dick Cheney? Make George talk smart/stupid/dirty here.
