Die-hard fans probably caught the sneak preview on MySpace yesterday, but for everyone else, the final installment of Prom Queen’s first season premiered today on it’s own website.
The 80th installment of this 90-second series marked by surprisingly strong if slightly overplayed performances, sharp cuts and eerie overtones raises the stakes of its high-intensity drama. I’m still quivering at the edge of my desk-chair….but don’t take my word for it. See for yourself (though it might do you some good to get caught up on the previous 79 episodes first).
The British Danica is coyishly sexy, if a little on the – shall we say – eccentric side. But she was enticing and interesting enough to keep me hooked through the first season. And apparently she (and the rest of the stunningly attractive cast) made quite an impression on a few other viewers. Vuguru
, the production company for Prom Queen, told NewTeeVee that the series notched a total of 15 million views, while the Washington Post reports it was a financial success, taking in at least its production budget of $100K – $150K.What’s next? A senior summer trip to Mexico of course! Watch more petty gossip, emotional roller coasters, sexual situations, and ominous plotlines in Season 2, set to air this August.
