Upcoming digital marketing confab madconNYC has partnered with the International Advertising Association to offer IAA Academy–an 11-session educational program that will take place during the first two days of the virtual conference.
Sponsored by Google, Facebook, TikTok, cloud-based ad tech developer Acoustic, marketing agency Bond, and management consultancy company Winterberry Group, IAA Academy “will bring the world’s leading advertising platforms and performance marketing consultancies under one virtual roof to help marketers leverage technology to build successful direct-to-consumer brands,” madconNYC says.
The International Advertising Association is a coalition of professionals across the advertising and communications industries. It has chapters in more than 70 countries, and focuses on numerous causes, including freedom of commercial speech, self-regulation, responsible advertising, education, and professional development.
IAA Academy is set to be one of madconNYC’s featured programs, and will take place Dec. 1-2. Sessions include:
- Holiday 2020: Small Business Goes Big–featuring Kaitlyn Wilkins, Facebook’s global director of small business
- Building Brand Loyalty in a Digitally Accelerated World–featuring Bruce Biegel, senior managing partner at Winterberry Group
- The Streaming Wars: How Marketers Can Win–featuring René Santaella of Estrella Media, Benjamin Diesbach of Goodway Group, Tim Natividad of Roku, Andrea Clarke-Hall of Tubi, and Jessica Levine of Facebook
Carlos Rodriguez, madconNYC’s event director, said organizers are “especially keyed up about this collaboration because it gives marketers the opportunity to interact directly with representatives from the platforms on which they spend so much of their time and budgets–what’s new, what’s changing, and how to get the most out of their investments with Facebook, Google, TikTok, and others.”
Like the rest of madconNYC’s inaugural event, IAA Academy is free to attend. madconNYC runs from Dec. 1-3, and will offer more than 30 livestreamed sessions on a variety of topics relevant to the current advertising ecosystem.
