Adobe has rolled out a powerful new tool designed specifically with online video content creators in mind. Teased as ‘Project Rush‘ at this year’s VidCon, Premiere Rush CC is a cloud-based video editing and publication program now available for Windows, Mac, and iOS — with an Android version coming sometime next year.
With Premiere Rush, creators get a range of editing tools that incorporate in technology from Adobe’s other products, including automatic audio mixing from Adobe Sensei and other capabilities from After Effects, Audition, and Premiere Pro. (For folks used to using Premiere Pro, Premiere Rush projects can also be opened in Pro for finishing touches.) Creators also get access to Adobe’s Motion Graphics stock library.
Additionally, the program offers creators sharing presets and one-click publishing to numerous social media sites like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. These presets were developed to help creators easily upload versions of their content to different platforms that meet their different publishing requirements, the company says.

Creators can try Premiere Rush CC for free with a Starter Plan, which includes mobile and desktop apps. Users on the Starter Plan can create an unlimited number of projects, and can export up to three. On the paid side, Premiere Rush will cost $9.99 per month and comes with 100 gigabytes of cloud storage.
Adobe says it plans to add more features in the coming months, including a tool to speed up and slow down videos.
