Rocket Jump’s Take On Roman Atwood’s Ball Pit Prank Is Ridiculous

In January 2015, YouTube prankster Roman Atwood turned his house into a ball pit for a branded video he created alongside Nissan. Four months later, FX wizard Freddie Wong and his team at Rocket Jump teamed up with Atwood to put their spin on his practical joke. The result is a ridiculous video that begins as a playful prank before taking a turn into absurd, ridiculous territory.

Without spoiling anything, let’s just say that Rocket Jump fans who saw the studio’s take on 90s Capri Sun commercials will have a good idea of what to expect from this latest short film. At 16 minutes, “World’s Biggest Ballpit PRANK!” is one of the longest sketches ever released on the Rocket Jump channel, and if you think the entire runtime will be spent frolicking around in an assortment of colorful balls, you are sorely mistaken:

The video seems like the sort of fare we can expect the Rocket Jump team to discuss on their upcoming Hulu web series, which was first announced in January of this year. The trailer for that show recently arrived on its official Hulu channel.

In addition to its Hulu series, Rocket Jump will continue to release epic short films on its YouTube channel. I will say, however, that Wong and his team will have a hard time topping their latest effort.
