Add Genius to the list of media companies that possess their own version of the Stories feature originated by Snapchat.

The music service, best known for elucidating hard-to-understand lyrics, has launched Song Stories, through which is it offering auxiliary content related to certain musical trends.

At launch, Genius has launched Song Stories pertaining to ten popular artists, songs, and genres, with more on the way in the near future. Though Song Stories are best viewed on the Genius mobile app, the existing ones have also been compiled on a page that can be accessed through desktop browsers.

“At YouTube we’re working every day to push the envelope and find new ways to enhance the overall music experience by better connecting artists and fans,” said YouTube Global Head of Music Lyor Cohen in a statement. “This project with Genius provides a more immersive way to explore music—it’s the perfect example of innovating in pursuit of this goal.”
