DJ Khaled Gives Back To His Fans With Instagram Web Series

While he is famous for his Snaps, DJ Khaled is also one of the most prominent influencers on Instagram, where he has more than five million followers. With a new series, Khaled will be able to give back to some of those fans. The DJ is the host of The Bless Up, a new web series that can be found on the Instagram feed of recently-launched music and culture brand WeBuyGold.

Fans who wished to appear on The Bless Up were prompted to get in touch with WeBuyGold on Instagram and relate stories about struggles from their personal lives. Khaled ultimately selected a few winners from among those submissions to grace with a visit, or, in the show’s lingo, a “bless up.”

WeBuyGold may sound like a store where people can exchange precious metals for cash, but the company is, as its website puts it, “a music-focused lifestyle brand creating original stories in new ways for a curious audience.” After launching out of media brand Naritiv, it introduced The Bless Up with an April 4th post on its Instagram page.

“By working with WeBuyGold, we’re going to tell stories in a new way about the biggest and up-and-coming artists across music,” said DJ Khaled. “Our first show, The Bless Up, embodies everything I am about. It’s an opportunity for me to show how grateful I am and share that with my fans by blessing them up.”

According to Billboard, WeBuyGold has at least three most original shows in the works. It will premiere them in the next month.
