Vlogger-Actress Lauren Elizabeth To Launch Eponymous Lifestyle App

Lifestyle vlogger-turned-movie star Lauren Luthringshausen, aka Lauren Elizabeth, is poised to launch tonight at midnight an eponymous mobile app. The platform will serve as a hub for all of Luthringshausen’s digital undertakings in categories like fashion, food, and fitness — including weekly posts, giveaways, videos, pics, and more.

“This app will feature all the content fans have always wanted but not known where to find,” according to a press release. “Cheese platter and outfit details anyone?!” Luthringshausen has designed, written, and curated the app herself — which looks to feature a minimalist, black-and-white aesthetic.

Luthringshausen is impatiently counting down the app’s launch on her Twitter account. “I showed a few people my app today cuz I secretly have it already duh!” she shared last week. “And they were OBSESSED and IMPRESSED! Ah!!”

The Lauren Elizabeth app will feature both free and subscription tier content, with a subscription priced at $2.99 per month. The app is free to download and is launching with a free 30-day trial.

Luthringshausen, who starred in the early influencer feature film Bad Night and will also appear in AwesomenessTV’s forthcoming movie for YouTube Red, We Love You, worked with mobile company DWNLD on the project. DWNLD, founded in 2014, is an app publishing platform that takes existing digital content and publishes it within an app. The company says it has created more than 3,000 apps since its launch, and has raised $14 million in equity funding.

Other influencers have sought to establish their own mobile apps in recent years to great success. App maker Victorious, for instance, has co-created apps with the likes of Lilly Singh, Ryan Higa, and even Luthringshausen’s We Love You co-star Lele Pons.
