It’s another installment of the weekly Tubefilter Chart of the Top 50 Most Viewed U.S. YouTube Channels and Justin Bieber’s popularity still shows little to no signs of waning.

Chart Toppers

Justin Bieber maintained his spot on the top of the U.S. chart for the ninth week in a row despite another slight single-digit dip in views. The apparent undying popularity of the music video releases associated with Bieber’s latest studio album Purpose helped contribute to the pop star’s view count to the tune of nearly 191 million views. WWE is still in the #2 spot. World Wrestling Entertainment’s YouTube home was down 5% in views to bottom out at nearly 119.7 million views on the week.

Up next in the #3 spot is Ryan ToysReview. The U.S.-based family-friendly children’s toys channels unboxed its way to over 104.1 million views. In fourth place is FamilyFunPack. The home video library of this American familial unit of seven ended the week with just about 99.1 million views.

And rounding out the Top 5 yet again FunToyzCollector. The channel formerly known as DisneyCollectorBR that first shined a spotlight on the toy unboxing YouTube trend amassed almost 88.5 million views in the week.

Top Gainers

The honor of one of our Top Gainers in the U.S. this week goes to 20th Century Fox.

The YouTube outpost of the American film studio had a great end of 2015 on YouTube thanks to a superhero vigilante with a penchant for breaking the fourth wall and a love of burritos. The second Red Band trailer for Fox’s upcoming Marvel superhero flick Deadpool did very well online. Three-minute-and-13 seconds’ worth of footage of the highly anticipated 2016 release quickly racked up a seven-figure view count, helping the 20th Century Fox channel to an 87% week-over-week increase in views, almost 27 million views on the week, and the #49 spot on the U.S. chart.

The top 50 most viewed U.S. YouTube channels this week amassed a total of 2,368,672,246 views. Here’s the distribution of a few of those channels by multi-channel network:

• VEVO: 17 channels in the U.S. Top 50, with Justin Bieber the highest-ranked channel of the network at #1.
• Maker Studios: 4 channels in the Top 50, with DisneyCarToys at #12 .
• BuzzFeed, Collective Digital Studio, Movieclips, OhMyGenius: 2 channels each in the Top 50, with BuzzFeed’s BuzzFeedVideo at #6, CDS’ FamilyFunPack at #4, Movieclips’ Movieclips Trailers at #16, and OhMyGenius’ Kids Channel at #41.
